PROJECT MANAGEMENT

A comprehensive project management system is vital to any successful build. We have devised a 13 point plan to help manage all projects from start to finish. We have a team who understands every element required for a smooth build.

Project Plan

We produce a project plan to enable the project team to guide the control and execution of the project, the project plan will include the operational, commercial and logistics strategies for the project. 

Scope of works

From the design/drawings we produce all the required documentation to issue to contractors.

Programme

We will schedule the sequence and duration of tasks, identify the critical path for the project and highlight any key dependencies/milestones.

The programme can also be resourced and labour histograms produced.     

Procurement

The procurement plan will schedule the key equipment lead times, delivery dates and be linked to the project programme.

Budget Costing

We will develop a detailed cost plan for the project which will be updated as the actual prices are provided by the suppliers and contractors.  

Tender Management

Selection of approved contractors for the tender process by reviewing the contractors experience, capability, financial standing, suitability, references and availability.

Tender Assessment

Collating and validating all the relevant tender return information, assessment/recommendations of tender submissions and detailed extraction of specific information. 

Value Engineering

Provide value engineering options to achieve compliance with the project budget.

Contract Managment

Finalize the contract documentation, warranties and insurances with the chosen contractor and negotiate a 12 month post contract agreement to ensure defects are completed.

Commercials

Complete a monthly valuation of works completed by the contractor, produce a payment certificate detailing the value to be paid and complete the final account agreement.   

Site Managment

We work on the clients behalf to complete the site set-up, monitor and report on site progress, asses the quality of work, manage the interfaces between the design and site teams and provide solutions to site challenges. 

Testing & Commisioning

We will attend site to witness/check all systems are installed, tested, and certified in accordance with the project specification and to the operational requirements on behalf of the owner or final client.

Snagging & Defect Management

We assess works carried out, produce snagging/defect schedules, obtain the necessary statutory documentation, manage the hand over and final sign off required for the project.
